Employees Assistance Program (E.A.P)

I provide solution focused and goal orientated counselling to employees and their families so as they can learn how to manage work stressors along with home/personal life in a more productive way in order to reduce the impact of these situations on work.

The benefits are mutual for both the company and workers for example, improving moral, reducing stress, absenteeism and enhanced efficiency.

Some of the strategies and tools provided in counselling are aimed at learning how to manage conflict, improve time management, effective communicating and team work, and whilst others focus on how to prevent difficulties arising in both areas of work and home simultaneously.

EAP Counselling is a cost effective process in that it provides proactive solutions in short period of time. Not only does counselling assist as a preventative measure so that the employee doesn’t develop symptoms of mental illness, but if they have pre-existing issues such as anxiety, depression or other problems, these can be worked through so they have minimal impact at work and at home.
